AMMAN, Aug. 16, 2026 — Twenty-one investors obtained Jordanian citizenship during the second quarter of this year, the Cabinet said Sunday, citing new government statistics.
The investments made by these 21 individuals exceeded $33 million and supported 767 Jordanian jobs, according to the data.
A separate group of six investors obtained residency status through investments totaling nearly 2 million dinars.
The Cabinet reviewed the statistics during a session Sunday chaired by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, covering citizenship and residency grants issued through the investment program during the second quarter of the year.
Since the citizenship-by-investment program began in 2021, a total of 687 investors have obtained Jordanian citizenship through the initiative, the statistics showed.
