Israeli occupation forces issued approximately 30 demolition notices on Thursday targeting homes, retaining walls, agricultural structures, and livestock sheds in the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem.
Anata Mayor Bassam Musa told the Governorate of Jerusalem that Israeli troops raided the town's Wa'ar al-Baik area and posted the notices, granting residents a seven-day window before execution under the pretext of unpermitted construction—a move that threatens numerous local properties.
The raid follows a broader trend recorded last month, when occupation authorities issued demolition notices for 34 Palestinian structures across the West Bank, with concentrations in the Bethlehem (13) and Hebron (10) governorates, alongside 5 in Jenin.
