Seventeen new lawyers took the legal oath before Minister of Justice Dr. Bassam Al-Talhouni on Thursday, in the presence of the President of the Jordanian Bar Association, Yahya Abu Abboud.
Dr. Al-Talhouni welcomed the new lawyers, praising the role of the legal profession and wishing them success in carrying out this noble mission.
It is worth noting that Article (23) of the Bar Association Law requires a lawyer who registers their name for the first time in the register of practicing lawyers to take the legal oath before the Minister of Justice in the presence of the Association President or two members of the Association Council.
