The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army on Monday continued medical evacuation operations for sick children from the Gaza Strip, evacuating the 32nd batch under the Jordanian Medical Corridor initiative, in implementation of royal directives.
The new batch included 8 sick children, accompanied by 8 of their relatives, who were transported to the Kingdom to receive medical treatment and care in several Jordanian hospitals. This step reflects Jordan's ongoing commitment to leveraging its medical and humanitarian capabilities to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, particularly children requiring specialized care.
Since the launch of evacuation operations in March 2025, the Jordanian Armed Forces, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, have continued patient transport operations in accordance with approved health procedures and standards, ensuring that patients reach the Kingdom to receive the necessary medical care.
The continuation of the Jordanian Medical Corridor comes amid extremely difficult humanitarian and health conditions in the Gaza Strip, underscoring Jordan's commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, standing by those most in need, and providing treatment and medical care for cases requiring intervention outside the Strip.
These efforts embody the humanitarian and medical role undertaken by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to support the Palestinian people and strengthen the humanitarian and medical response to their suffering, reflecting the Kingdom's steadfast approach to providing support and care for the sick and injured, especially children.
