Introduction:
In recent years, the cause has shifted significantly—especially with ongoing Israeli terrorism in the occupied territories (the West Bank and Gaza)—from a mere state of global humanitarian sympathy into a direct pressure factor on the political and diplomatic landscapes amidst serious questions about how to turn this sympathy into effective and impactful change for its future.
International and legal recognitions have achieved diplomatic gains in recognizing the State of Palestine, even from the very countries that created this state, granting Palestinian rights global moral and legal legitimacy. In contrast, this has reflected on Israel as a growing international isolation politically, legally, and popularly, within the UN General Assembly and its subsidiary organizations.
Regarding the future trajectory of the Palestinian cause, occasional Arab-international moves emerge on the global stage to open a serious political horizon to revive the "two-state solution," compel major powers to fulfill their responsibilities and roles in achieving peace and stability worldwide, remind them of this, and King Abdullah II’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly serves as a model for this awakening from their deep slumber.
The dangers of continued international stagnation and deadlock regarding the cause, the escalation of Israeli terrorism in the West Bank, the ongoing killing and destruction in the Gaza Strip, keeping the conflict open, and failing to give the cause international political attention mean that Israel's exploitation of the current situation is an accelerated plan to devour West Bank land piece by piece. This will lead to annexing the West Bank without an official Israeli declaration, so that even if Israel is forced to accept a "two-state solution," the Palestinian state will lack any land possessing the essential components of a state (land, people, and system).
