​The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development confirmed on Thursday that official correspondence with relevant authorities revealed that the Khartoum Advanced International School in Egypt—which claims to offer the American High School Diploma curriculum—is unaccredited, lacks required official approvals, and holds no official license to teach the American program.
​In an official statement, the ministry announced that it will not evaluate or grant equivalency to any High School Diploma (Tawjihi equivalent) issued by this institution.
​Furthermore, the ministry reiterated its strict enforcement of regulations governing the equivalency of non-Jordanian high school certificates. Article 10(A) of the active High School Certificate Equivalency Regulations stipulates that applicants must provide proof of residency in the host country with one or both parents or a legal guardian, or obtain a no-objection letter from the Jordanian embassy or cultural attaché prior to enrolling in the host country.
​Additionally, Article 7(2) requires that any institution granting high school diplomas must hold valid licensing and recognition from both its country of origin and the official educational authorities in the host country.
​The ministry urged students and parents to strictly adhere to these regulations to avoid forfeiting time, effort, and financial resources on non-equivalent qualifications resulting from non-compliance with statutory conditions.
