In a powerful display of national unity and solidarity, members of the Jordanian expatriate community in the Greater Washington area gathered on Saturday evening at the Jordanian Embassy to honor the martyrs of Friday’s cowardly terrorist attack in Karak Governorate.
Participants were received by Jordan’s Ambassador to the United States, Dina Kawar, alongside embassy staff. Attendees lit candles in memory of the martyrs, expressing their deep grief and heartfelt solidarity with the victims' families and the Jordanian people.
The community initiative underscored the unbreakable bond connecting Jordanians at home and abroad, as well as their steadfast alignment behind the homeland and the Hashemite leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Gathering members affirmed that terrorism and extremism will never compromise Jordan’s security, stability, or its long-standing values of brotherhood and national coexistence.
