AMMAN
The Jordanian Construction Contractors Association held a day of condolences at its headquarters in Amman for the brother of contractor colleague Nader Burqan, who was martyred in the terrorist attack targeting the Greek Orthodox Church in the village of Humud in Karak Governorate. The event saw broad participation from trade unionists, general assembly members, as well as heads and board members of professional syndicates.
Head of the Jordanian Contractors Association, Fouad Al-Dweiri, affirmed that the Association, in all its components, stands alongside the families of the martyrs in their painful loss. He noted that the attack targeting the nation's citizens is entirely rejected and contradicts religious, human, and national values, asserting that it will not undermine the unity of Jordanians nor their national fabric built on brotherhood and coexistence.
Al-Dweiri expressed the Association's pride in the efforts made by the security agencies in pursuing and capturing the perpetrators of the attack, stating that these actions reflect the efficiency and capability of these agencies to safeguard the nation's security. He commended the sacrifices of the security forces and Armed Forces, reiterating the Association's firm support behind His Majesty the King and all measures taken by the security agencies, emphasizing that Jordan's security is a red line.
Al-Dweiri prayed to God to bestow His vast mercy upon the martyrs and to protect Jordan and its people under the Hashemite leadership.
