The Education and Training Department at Al-Kindi Hospital organized an awareness and educational lecture on first aid for female students at Al-Hikma Secondary School.
The lecture aimed to introduce students to the importance of first aid in saving lives, enhance health awareness regarding proper methods for handling emergency cases, and emphasize the necessity of rapid and correct responses until specialized medical assistance arrives. It highlighted preventing the deterioration of cases by preserving life and improving recovery chances through the provision of immediate initial treatment for injuries.
This initiative falls within Al-Kindi Hospital's ongoing efforts to support awareness and educational activities while fostering a culture of prevention and safety among students and the broader community.
It is worth noting that Al-Kindi Hospital is a private medical institution encompassing all medical specialties and housing specialized centers for bariatric surgery, plastic surgery and liposuction, vascular surgery, IVF, lithotripsy, interventional radiology, cancer detection (breast cancer), organ transplant surgeries, cardiac catheterization and open-heart surgery, a gastrointestinal and biliary endoscopy unit, and a dedicated emergency department equipped with state-of-the-art devices and modern ambulances.
