AMMAN / BAGHDAD
In implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, Iraqi media quoted an informed source stating that Iraq has commenced granting Jordanian citizens entry visas upon arrival at its territory, permitting them a stay of 30 days.
The source stated that implementation has begun regarding issuing Jordanians one-month visit visas upon arrival.
The source added that Jordanian citizens can now obtain entry visas upon arrival at Iraqi airports and border crossings without requiring a prior visa, noting that they are permitted to travel using their private vehicles or via commercial flights.
The source affirmed that this step comes within the outcomes of Al-Zaidi's recent visit to Jordan, which similarly featured reciprocal facilities for Iraqis entering the Kingdom, as they have become eligible to obtain entry visas upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport.
