​The Amman Chamber of Commerce affirmed that the Royal Speech from the Throne delivered by His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday embodied the strength of the Jordanian state, the steadfastness of its leadership, and the wisdom of its people. The chamber noted that the speech conveyed clear messages that national security, unity, and the rule of law are non-negotiable fundamentals, and that Jordan will remain immune to anyone attempting to compromise its security, stability, or national cohesion.
​According to a statement issued by the chamber on Tuesday, Mohammad Abu Odeh, Chairman of the Chamber's Steering Committee, praised His Majesty's firm stance against terrorism and extremism and his remembrance of the Karak martyrs. Abu Odeh emphasized that the blood of the martyrs will remain embedded in the consciousness of Jordanians, asserting that the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies represent the nation's fortified shield, and that protecting Jordan extends to every citizen, institution, and sector by enhancing awareness, rejecting extremism, and cementing values of brotherhood and tolerance.
​Abu Odeh noted that His Majesty's emphasis on the rule of law and holding accountable anyone who misuses their position carries a paramount message toward reinforcing trust in state institutions, establishing justice, and ensuring equal opportunities. He pointed out that an efficient, fair, and transparent public administration constitutes an essential requirement for constructing a stable commercial and investment environment that safeguards rights, stimulates production, and guarantees fair treatment for all.
​Furthermore, he stressed that the Royal directives to place citizen welfare at the heart of decision-making serve as a genuine benchmark for measuring the success of public policies. Abu Odeh underscored the importance of reflecting modernization efforts, improved services, and streamlined government procedures on the lives of citizens and business owners, ensuring merchants and consumers experience tangible results through procedure simplification, reduced business costs, enhanced purchasing power, and stimulated market activity.
​Abu Odeh renewed his pride, alongside the commercial and services sector in Amman, in the Hashemite leadership, reaffirming the sector's commitment to continuing its economic and societal role in cooperation with state institutions to serve the capital and its commercial community. He concluded that the paramount message of the Speech from the Throne is that Jordan's strength begins with national unity, respect for the law, preservation of institutions, and collective responsibility in protecting the homeland and building its future.
