​The United Arab Emirates condemned the terrorist act that occurred in the capital, Amman, which resulted in the martyrdom of a public security personnel member following a sharp-tool attack, and the injury of a patrol officer.
​In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the UAE expresses its strong condemnation of these terrorist and criminal acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability.
​The Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family and relatives of the martyr, and to Jordan and its people, wishing a speedy recovery toिरा the injured.
​The Public Security Directorate announced earlier that one of its personnel was martyred after being subjected to a sharp-tool attack by an individual in the capital, adding that investigations into the incident have commenced and details will be provided successively.
