AMMAN
​With feelings of absolute condemnation and hearts wrung with pain, we express our strong denunciation and deep condemnation of the cowardly and treacherous terrorist act that targeted a Public Security patrol in the Jordanian capital, Amman, resulting in the martyrdom of a duty officer and the treacherous injury of his colleague.
​These criminal and cowardly acts, which are rejected by all divine laws and human values, will only increase proud Jordan—leadership, army, people, and brave men—in strength, cohesion, and steadfastness upon the truth, and will not weaken the resolve of those keeping watch over the nation's security and stability in confronting the remnants of evil and extremism.
​As we offer our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the brotherly Jordanian people and to the Public Security Directorate, we mourn with all pride and honor the nation's prominent martyr, Corporal Jwad Al-Salayta, who penned with his pure blood the highest meanings of sacrifice and redemption for the security of his homeland. We ask Almighty God to bestow His vast mercy upon him, grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and inspire his family, relatives, and comrades with patience and solace.
​We also direct our sincere prayers to Almighty God to grant a speedy recovery and full health to Lieutenant Mohammad Al-Ananzeh, who was touched by the hand of treachery and aggression, hoping he will soon return healthy and sound to the ranks of honor and duty.
​We in Kuwait, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, may God protect him, always affirm that Jordan's security and stability are a main pillar for the security of the entire region.
​May terrorism and its people be defeated, may the hands of treachery and betrayal be paralyzed, and may God preserve beloved Jordan safe and reassured, with its wise leadership and authentic people, and protect it from all harm and evil.
