Arab Bank recently provided platinum sponsorship for the activities of the seventh edition of the Jordan Arts and Sciences Festival, which was held over three days at the Children’s Museum and targeted children between the ages of 4 and 12 years. The number of visitors who attended the festival exceeded 4,000 parents and children.
The Arab Bank’s support for this festival comes within the framework of its social responsibility program, which deals with a group of issues that are consistent with the values of citizenship and social responsibility, as the bank is keen on continuous cooperation with the Children’s Museum in line with its interest in children by supporting purposeful educational and awareness programs and initiatives directed at them.
The festival, which the museum holds annually with the support of the Arab Bank, included a variety of activities, enjoyable theatrical performances in science, arts and literature, and more than 35 interactive workshops, all of which aim to motivate children to love learning and knowledge, and research in a manner based on interaction, experience and exploration. He urged them to think analytically and innovate. The content and events were presented with the participation of more than 10 educational institutions and education experts in providing the content of the workshops, activities and performances for children.
The Jordan Children's Museum is a non-profit educational institution launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2007. The museum is located in Al Hussein Gardens, and includes more than 190 interactive educational exhibits inside its exhibition hall and in its outdoor courtyard, and educational facilities that include a library, an art studio, and a secret garden. It also offers educational programs, events and shows throughout the year.
