Retired Major General Dr. Engineer Hisham Khreisat said in an interview with Rum News Agency, that Hamas achieved precedence in attacking its targets within the Gaza envelope by capturing many Israelis and destroying part of the infrastructure, in addition to shaking the image of the army, which does not He conquers.
Regarding the field situation, he indicated that Israel used all types of weapons, whether air force, artillery, armor weapons, or tanks, as well as attacks from the sea and special operations, which are supported by military machinery from the West.
Khreisat pointed out that there are four possible scenarios, the first of which is achieving an absolute victory for Israel, which it has been unable to achieve until this moment, as there is violent resistance by the Palestinian resistance. The second is that the situation ends as it is through a prisoner exchange deal, which is a moral victory for Hamas. The third is that things stop without a winner. There is no loser, as was the case previously. The latter, which is unlikely in the foreseeable future, is a regional war in which regional parties from countries within the region and countries allied to Israel participate.
He pointed out that if prisoners were exchanged between Israel and Gaza and the military action ended, then this stage would be considered a moral victory for Hamas.
He pointed out that the displacement scenario would not take place within a foreseeable future, and that Jordan's position was clear and His Majesty the King announced it very clearly as a declaration of war.
Khreisat explained that what is broadcast on social media is part of the psychological warfare practiced by both Israel and the resistance, noting that Hamas has succeeded to some extent in this matter.
He warned against falsity in the news that is published regarding losses, numbers, and videos, which are part of the media war to a state of reaction, and that the means of communication are absolutely biased towards Israel.
He pointed out that Jordan's role in supporting the Palestinian cause is ongoing and historic, and the importance of the peace treaty in serving the cause and its impact on Jordan's ability to reach the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and that the existing hospitals are the best evidence of that, as well as the Jordanian effort to deliver medical supplies to the hospital in Gaza.
Khreisat praised Jordan's positions throughout the conflict in redempting Palestine and the holy sites and making continuous sacrifices, as Palestine was stained with the blood of the martyrs and is still being offered, stressing the wise leadership of His Majesty the King and the Crown Prince in managing the scene and conveying the voice to the entire world.
