The government allocated 734 million dinars to the executive program for the economic modernization vision next year, according to the indicative cost of the program.
The draft general budget law for the fiscal year 2024 included the allocation of 349 million dinars from the budget of ministries and government departments, and 135 million dinars from the budget of government units and self-financing, for the executive program for the economic modernization vision.

As for the future services engine, which was allocated 56 million dinars; It will work on several important priorities, most notably the computerization of hospitals and health centers, supporting the development of e-commerce, and supporting the development of the electronic games industry, in addition to continuing to support the digital transformation program.
The executive program of the 2024 Economic Modernization Vision included the allocation of 83 million dinars to finance the priorities of making Jordan a global destination, with the aim of alleviating the repercussions of the war on Gaza on the tourism sector. Including the continuation of low-cost aviation incentive programs, tourism promotion programs and support for Royal Film Commission projects.
The program also allocated 94 million dinars to the priorities of the leadership and creativity engine, to provide funding for the National Employment Program, develop the early education stage, and vocational and technical education and training, and continue to develop the skills of teachers and trainers.
Regarding the sustainable resources engine, 233 million dinars were allocated to its priorities. Especially those related to providing the required annual funding for the national carrier project, the water loss reduction project, and regional electrical interconnection projects, in addition to providing the infrastructure required to supply a number of industrial cities with natural gas.
The executive program for the economic modernization vision next year also allocated 33 million dinars to the priorities of the sustainable environment drive. With the aim of promoting sustainable practices for the transition towards a green economy.
As for the quality of life engine, the program allocated 160 million dinars to finance priorities related to studies of the new city, developing the public transportation system, conducting detailed studies of the sustainable financing project for toll roads, in addition to establishing the medical simulation center and developing the drug inventory system.
