Arab Bank has strengthened its strategic partnership with the Jordan Football Association, becoming the primary sponsor for all national teams across various categories for three years.
His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the Association, praised the expanded partnership with Arab Bank, expressing his appreciation for this longstanding relationship with one of the most significant and widespread banking institutions in the Arab world and internationally. Since 2011, Arab Bank has supported Jordanian football, aiding youth and backing the journey of sports development.
Secretary-General Samar Nassar explained that the expanded partnership with Arab Bank includes the next three years, during which the bank will become the main sponsor of all men’s and women’s national teams, from the senior teams to the youth categories, and even school football events, while continuing to sponsor professional leagues and clubs.
The Secretary-General emphasized that solidifying and developing the partnership with Arab Bank is a result of the excellence and institutional approach in building strong, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners, offering them marketing and commercial privileges that enhance their reach to football fans and contribute to the financial sustainability of the system.
She added, "Over the past 13 years, we have shared many achievements and memorable moments in Jordanian football with Arab Bank, such as securing the runner-up position in the 2023 Asian Cup and reaching the global playoff for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers. Today, we strengthen our partnership with the best bank in the Middle East for 2024, making it the main sponsor of the national teams to achieve our dreams and aspirations of reaching the 2026 World Cup."
Ms. Randa Sadik, the CEO of Arab Bank, expressed her pride in expanding the historic partnership with the Jordan Football Association, which reflects the deep relationship between Arab Bank, the Association, and the national teams that have become a distinctive mark and made significant appearances in various Asian and international arenas.
Sadik added, "This step reaffirms our continued support for Jordanian football as we look forward to continuing the partnership with the 'Home of Jordanian Football,' which has provided a supportive environment for investment in this sector and served as an example of cooperation over the past period, enhancing our efforts to contribute to achieving aspirations and accomplishments."
It is noteworthy that Arab Bank, headquartered in Amman, Jordan, was established in 1930 and owns one of the largest Arab global banking networks, comprising over 600 branches. The bank has a prominent presence in major global markets and financial centers, such as London, Singapore, Shanghai, Geneva, Paris, Sydney, Dubai, and Bahrain.
