China has maintained its position as the world’s largest goods trading nation for the eighth consecutive year, the Chinese General Administration of Customs announced on Friday.

According to Xinhua, the country’s total goods imports and exports surpassed 43 trillion yuan (approximately $6 trillion) for the first time last year, marking a 5% year-on-year increase.
