Israeli media reported that the Israeli Air Force carried out an assassination operation in Yemen. According to Israel’s public broadcaster, an official stated that if the operation in Yemen succeeded, it would be of significant importance.

The news site Axios quoted a senior Israeli official as saying that Israel attempted to assassinate Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, the Chief of Staff of Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement.

Channel 12 also cited a security source describing the strike in Yemen as "dramatic" if confirmed successful.
