Iranian state television resumed its live broadcast Monday after a brief interruption caused by an Israeli strike targeting the headquarters of Iran’s state broadcasting authority in Tehran, according to an official from the organisation.

The official confirmed that Israel launched a military operation Monday evening against Iran’s news network.

Iranian TV reported that the state broadcasting building was hit by an Israeli airstrike following Israeli threats to bomb it.
