Faris Al-Habashneh

In Zarqa, a son kills his father by firing squad.
And in Jabal Al-Joufah, a young man stabs his father inside a mosque.
Two news that we will not be able to escape from, and suffice to say that changing the patterns and forms of crime is linked to drugs and their terrifying spread.
A Son Kills His Father, A Son Stabs His Father, A Son Kills His Mother: Extraordinary Crimes.
What does it mean to kill the father and the mother? Rare crimes, and the occurrence of crimes scarce and limited, and I think that they have not occurred before in Jordan.
The news did not tell us more about the occurrence of the incident, and the news closed with the start of the criminal investigation and the referral of the case to the court «the judiciary».
And what we do not know more about the crime and what is behind it, its repercussions, and its dimensions.
The murders of the father and the mother whose settlement in Jordan is very dangerous.
The father is an image of inheritance and power, and hastening the father’s departure by killing and stabbing is a coup against sacred social symbols.
And the murders of the father and mother may be an early harbinger of more serious and heinous crimes.
What after killing the father and mother? We hear about crimes of killing girls under the pretext of honor, reputation, honor and others.
And society justifies and condones the crime of killing girls to some extent under a moral, religious, and social cover.
Killing the mother and father is a coup in the criminal pyramid.
Ordinary news, saying a father kills his son, while saying a son kills his father, this is what calls for a cautious pause.
The two crimes say: The immunity of society, its morals, peace, cohesion, immunity, and strength are weak and “zero”, and it has been depleted and consumed.
She says that Jordanian society is naked and exposed, and that criminal displacement is stronger than social immunity.
We do not ignore the truth by acknowledging that some refugees and refugee communities have been broken and dismantled and led to the collapse of Jordanian customs and traditions.
And before we go into the strangeness and seriousness of the nascent and emerging crimes in Jordan, why don't we ask how they settled and invaded Jordanian society?!
And if we go back to the Jordanian criminal archive, and when did strange and dangerous crimes begin to infiltrate the simple, modest, and marginal Jordanian society.
Here, I do not express hatred for any refugee, old or new, on Jordanian soil.
As for the crime of Al-Jawfa, it is compounded by strangeness, which raises astonishment that it occurred in a mosque, just as the stabbed father works as an imam of the mosque.
