Each year, the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts proves it is far more than a fleeting cultural event—it stands as a national occasion that embodies the spirit of Jordanian creativity and enhances the Kingdom’s cultural presence on regional and international stages.

The success of the 2025 edition, which drew over half a million visitors, would not have been possible without the immense efforts of those behind it—both individuals and institutions.

Under the theme “This is Jordan, and its Glory Endures”, the 39th Jerash Festival managed to bring joy and celebration despite challenges, showcasing Jordan’s heritage and promoting cultural tourism through a powerful artistic and national narrative.

Special recognition goes to the festival’s Higher Committee, led by Minister of Culture Mustafa Rawashdeh, and the executive management headed by Director Ayman Samawi. Their professional and dedicated work resulted in a rich programme that reflected Jordan’s cultural diversity and welcomed artists and creatives from across the globe.

We also commend the role of the security forces and logistical teams who ensured a safe and well-organised environment worthy of the festival’s history and stature.

The media coverage was equally impressive. Journalists Khaled Ghoneim and Ghazi Bani Nassar deserve mention for their consistent and comprehensive reporting, keeping the spotlight on every detail of the festival.

The Jerash Festival remains a shining example of collaboration between public and private sectors, affirming that investing in culture and the arts is an investment in the nation's image, awareness, and identity.

Over 10 days, organisers delivered more than 235 diverse artistic and cultural events, including concerts by leading Jordanian and Arab stars, theatre performances, literary evenings featuring 140 poets, and special programmes for families and children.

The festival also hosted exhibitions of visual arts, handicrafts, and folklore from Jordan and several Arab and foreign countries.

This variety and high level of organisation underscore the festival’s resounding success and reinforce its message to the world: “Jordan is here… and its glory continues.”
