In a humanitarian gesture reflecting its commitment to social responsibility and supporting its young staff, Armoush Tourist Investments – McDonald’s Jordan – organised an honorary ceremony for its employees who successfully passed the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) this year.
The ceremony was held at the InterContinental Amman Hotel, attended by management and staff, and included a celebratory luncheon, during which financial awards and gifts were distributed in recognition of their efforts and academic achievement.
This year was marked by the excellence of one McDonald’s Jordan employee who achieved an average of 97.5% in the scientific stream, setting an example of the ability of youth to balance work and study and excel in both fields.
McDonald’s Jordan management affirmed that this initiative comes within the company’s continuous efforts to support its employees, particularly youth, and to raise their morale and encourage them to combine study and work in a way that positively reflects on their professional and academic future. They stressed that investment in employees is the cornerstone of the company’s success and progress.
This step is an extension of McDonald’s role in Jordan as a socially responsible company, whose contribution is not limited to providing job and training opportunities, but also extends to motivating and empowering young people to achieve their ambitions.
It is worth noting that McDonald’s Jordan was among the first companies to introduce the shift work system in the Kingdom’s restaurant sector, providing thousands of flexible opportunities for students and youth wishing to combine work and study.
