qScattered rain, moderate weather instability expected Thursday

Acting Director-General of the Meteorological Department Abdul Munem Qrallah said a weak to moderate weather instability will affect Jordan from Thursday noon until Saturday.

Qrallah told Al Mamlaka that the system will bring intermittent scattered rainfall, mainly over the western belt and eastern regions of the Kingdom.

Temperatures are expected to to around 24–25°C on Thursday and further to 21°C on Friday, with the unstable conditions continuing through Saturday under the same forecast.

Regarding the delayed rainy season, Qrallah noted that rainfall has been delayed 36 times in the past 100 years, adding that 16 of those seasons recorded normal or even above-average precipitation.
