Amman Ahliyya president honours students winning national competitions

Amman Ahliyya University president Sari Hamdan honours students winning several national competitions, celebrating achievements that raise university profile.

Honouring includes Information Technology Faculty team winning first place in SheHacks competition for female students, organised by Green Circle company, with participation of 49 teams from 27 Jordanian universities. Team includes Lamis Shaath, Sally Al-Kabareeti, Rania Matar and Hiba Al-Khararbeh under supervision of IT dean Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, lecturer Nada Al-Shafii and Hussein Al-Zaghateet.

Hamdan also honours student Ali Shibli for role in presenting closing ceremony of Zain Esports university championship.

Ceremony includes honouring university basketball team after winning second place in inter-university 3x3 basketball championship. Team members Abdullah Shtatat, Youssef Al-Buaibish, Tayyib Montaser Qassem and Fadi Al-Nazli. Tournament organised by Jordanian Universities Sports Federation.

Hamdan says student achievements confirm university academic leadership and progress among Jordanian universities, noting success in national and international competitions reflects real investment in building creative, innovative and competitive generation. He stresses continued support for students through training, sponsorship and development.

Ceremony attended by IT dean Mohammad Al-Qatawneh, student affairs dean Mustafa Atiyat, Arena Complex director Nader Sweidan, assistant dean of student affairs Issam Al-Sahhar and Mohammad Al-Louzzi.
