A senior official in Yemen’s separatist Transitional Council on Friday reports seven people killed in Saudi airstrikes on a camp belonging to its forces in Hadhramaut.
Mohammed Abdul Malik, head of Southern Transitional Council in Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, says seven killed and more than 20 injured in Saudi strikes on southern government forces.
Earlier on Friday, Hadhramaut Governor Salem Al Khanbashi, backed by Saudi Arabia, announced launch of a "peaceful operation" to retake military sites controlled by Southern Transitional Council, stressing operation targets only military camps and sites, not an act of war or escalation.
