The Bunayat Center for Special Education, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children with special needs, launched its annual "Inspiring Cooperation" exhibition Sunday under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sarvath El Hassan, Honorary President of the Young Muslim Women’s Association.

The three-day exhibition, hosted at the headquarters of the Jordan Construction Contractors Association, aims to support the empowerment of students with disabilities by showcasing their creative work and handicrafts in collaboration with partner institutions.

The exhibition features a range of products and handmade crafts designed and produced by students at the center, highlighting their artistic and professional skills while promoting their social inclusion and community engagement.

Director of the center Bahia Misk said the exhibition serves as a practical platform for presenting the talents and creativity of persons with disabilities beyond prevailing stereotypes, stressing that empowerment begins with recognizing their abilities and providing opportunities for participation and achievement.

Misk noted that persons with disabilities possess significant capabilities that deserve support and investment, adding that such initiatives contribute to strengthening opportunities for participation, productivity, and independence while enhancing community awareness and confidence in their potential.

She said the exhibition’s title, "Inspiring Cooperation," reflects partnerships established with professional designers who worked alongside the center’s students to develop a distinctive collection carrying the students’ creative identity and artistic expression.

Misk added that the center seeks through these initiatives to advance the principles of inclusion and economic and social empowerment, while expanding cooperation with institutions supporting equitable access to education, employment, and public life for persons with disabilities.

The exhibition also aims to highlight the importance of providing supportive and inclusive environments that contribute to enhancing independence and strengthening the integration of persons with disabilities into society.
