Jordan Tourism Board and Embassy in Jakarta Host Reception Marking 80th Independence Day and National Occasions

The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), in cooperation with the Jordanian Embassy in Jakarta, hosted a formal reception under the patronage of the Jordanian Ambassador to Indonesia, Sudqi Al-Amoush, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Kingdom's independence and its national occasions.
The Indonesian government was represented at the event by Minister of Health Budi Sadikin. The reception was also attended by the Speaker of the Regional Representative Council (DPD), Sultan Najamudin, alongside several senior officials.
Additionally, the gathering brought together accredited ambassadors to Indonesia and ASEAN, representatives of UN missions, academic and media figures, prominent business influencers, tourism activists, and members of the Jordanian community residing in Indonesia.
Cultural Identity and Strategic Promotion
The event featured the screening of a promotional film showcasing Jordan's rich historical, cultural, and religious heritage, as well as its robust tourism, economic, and investment potential. Various cultural segments highlighting authentic Jordanian identity were also presented.
Prior to the main reception, a parade was held featuring the Jordanian Armed Forces Band accompanied by the National Defense College Band. The march concluded with an official flag-raising ceremony for both the Jordanian and Indonesian flags at the Indonesian National Monument (Monas) square in the streets of Jakarta.
A Journey of Modernization
During his address to the attendees, Ambassador Sudqi Al-Amoush reviewed Jordan's eight-decade journey of achievement, comprehensive modernization, and development under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
