Thousands of fans of Jordan's star Omar Al-Abdul-Lat packed the Southern Theater for a night of "lifetime."
Omar presented a bunch of songs that the audience knew, such as “I left you, O Saad,” and “Qulou Al-Ghali,” and he sang again the song “Nass Elli Tamaana” and the song “Al-Dahiya” and others. With the participation of the orchestra led by Dr. George Asaad, the largest band featuring an Arab singer in Jerash.
The event was presented by Mohammed Al-Wakeel and the star of Roya channel, Ikhlas Al-Atoum. Omar greeted the audience, the Artists Syndicate, the festival management and the audience.
Al-Abd Al-Lat confirmed that he is a "race mare" at the Jerash Festival, and that the days have refined his talent despite the whiteness that invades his heart, and that he is the singer closest to the people and to him with his artistic choices. Northern Theatre:
The activities of the Northern Theater opened with an evening of original singing by the Egyptian Opera House troupe, led by Maestro Alaa Abdel Salam. And the participation of 25 musicians...and a public presence spreading across the amphitheater...the Egyptian Minister of Culture, Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani...and the Jordanian Minister of Culture, Haifaa Al-Najjar, and the festival's director, Ayman Samawi...were in attendance with a piece of music by the musician Hany Muhanna, then the artist Ahmed appeared. Sabri and sang.. one of Muhammad Qandil's masterpieces.. Jamil and Asmar...then he chose one of Muharram Fouad's songs...which is the sweet song, "Dyer Shabbakha"....the artist Sarah Zaki sang for Shadia..and the beginning was with the song Al-Qalb Ma'ak.. Then the song "The Moon Has Gone..." where she sang with the capabilities of her voice... and with a high sense.
And the artist Nahr Hafez appeared... who recalled from Warda's songs, the song "The Black Eyes"... and a song in a day and a night... amidst great public interaction... and the Nightingale songs were a part of the beautiful evening... as the artist Hossam Hosni. The song "Jana Al-Hawa" "Jana"... and ended with the song "Sawah"... to honor the band in recognition of its participation in the Jerash Festival.
Main square
The main arena of the "Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts" in its 37th session for the current year 2023, on the evening of the second day of the festival, was filled with happiness and joy.
Songs, hymns and musical melodies were alternated by a group of local, Arab and foreign folklore bands, who presented paragraphs carrying many popular and diverse cultural legacies for visitors to the festival.
The start was with the group of the Kairouan Jerash Cultural Association, which presented an authentic Jordanian heritage link, and then followed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Performing Arts Group, which presented an image derived from the history of Saudi heritage and culture.
Then, a group from Mexico presented an interesting show, dance paintings and songs expressing the Mexican culture, which entertained the audience with a unique and distinctive culture, leading to a painting presented by the operetta troupe, Popular Creations, Egyptian Night from the Naughty Republic of Egypt, which won wide satisfaction from the audience and received great interaction.
Visitors to the "Al Saha" enjoyed interactive activities with the festival's audience, including presentations of natural and heritage products of the people and residents of Jerash Governorate.
Artemis Theatre
Within the activities of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, a poetry evening was held on Thursday evening, in which a number of poets participated, namely: Muhammad al-Mahasneh, Linda Obaid and Marwan al-Atoum, in which they presented their poems and prose.
Odeon Theatre
As part of the festival's activities, the first artistic evenings were launched at the Odeon Theater in downtown Amman on Thursday evening, with a remarkable audience and Jordanian artistic participation.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the audience received the Jordanian artist, Bashar Al-Sarhan, who sang traditional songs and his well-known songs, including; Biography of my love, Don't leave me, Abdullah Ya Awnak, and A song Ya al-Urduniyah.
Al-Sarhan recited the remarkable presence of the Jordanian artist Ahmed Abanda, who started his songs on the rhythm of Mawal and the song Al-Barinji composed and composed by him, then the song Bint Bladi, and Jordan for the one I love, to conclude with his well-known song "Daq Almani".
Abanda repeated German beat pieces to the audience, who enjoyed the atmosphere overlooking downtown Amman and the Columns Square, and stood in line on the stands, holding hands, dancing to their favorite song.
Then the Jordanian singer Saleh Al-Karasneh came and took the audience to the songs of the beautiful tarab and the multi-dialectal heritage songs, while he dedicated the song “Hala Ya Ain Abouna” to the late artist Miteb Al-Saqqar
The "Book" begins its activities with "The Historical Depth and Tourist Impact of Jerash"
A lecture on the historical and touristic depth of the city of Jerash, in which the Jordanian Writers and Writers Union initiated its first activities, at its headquarters in Amman, in which its members participated; Writer Mamdouh Ghalilat, writer Marwan al-Sukkar, researcher Haider al-Zamil, and Sanad al-Fayez, presented by Dr. Khalaf al-Qaisi, in the presence of the president of the union, the poet Alyan al-Adwan, members of the general assembly, and an audience that loves culture.
The lecture began with a welcome speech by the President of the Union, then the lecturers talked about the importance of the city, its history, heritage and importance.
