Terrorist settlers escalated their attacks at dawn on Tuesday against towns and villages south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, burning three vehicles, attacking Palestinian homes between the villages of Jalud and Talfit, and destroying part of the electricity grid in the town of Madama.
​Bashar Al-Qaryouti, an anti-settlement activist in southern Nablus, reported that a group of terrorist settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the area located between the villages of Jalud and Talfit, setting fire to three vehicles, which resulted in their complete destruction.
​He added that the settlers also attempted to set fire to a building, but the vigilance of the local residents and their swift confrontation of the attack prevented them from doing so.
​In another attack at dawn on Tuesday, settlers destroyed the electricity network in the town of Madama, south of Nablus.
​Rami Nassar, head of the Madama Village Council, stated that settlers from a new outpost established between the villages of Beita, Tell, and Madama cut down electricity poles for the second time in a week. This led to the destruction of the area's power grid and caused blackouts across parts of the village.
​Villages south of Nablus—particularly Jalud, Qaryut, Talfit, Qusra, and Madama—are witnessing an escalation in settler attacks. These incidents include burning property, assaulting Palestinians, attacking homes, and sabotaging infrastructure and agricultural land under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, as part of a policy aimed at pressuring Palestinians, forcibly displacing them, and seizing more land for settlement expansion.
