The Social Security Corporation affirmed that the procedures for registering an establishment online under social security coverage are straightforward, noting that a detailed guide outlining the steps is accessible through the corporation's official website.
In a statement released Saturday, the corporation detailed the steps for enrolling establishments online under the provisions of the Social Security Law, particularly active sole proprietorships that have received formal notification notices. The process aims to allow these entities to rectify their legal status before the expiration of the specified 15-day deadline and avoid incurring financial penalties or interest.
The corporation stated that the process begins by accessing the official website, navigating to the "Electronic Services" menu, selecting the "Establishment Coverage" service, and completing the required information fields.
The second step involves entering partner details, if applicable, followed by filling in the contact information for the liaison officer. The third step requires attaching the necessary documents, checking the box declaring the accuracy of the submitted data, and clicking the "Submit Application" button.
The corporation noted that it has published an instructional video explaining the online registration procedures under the Social Security Law, along with a detailed step-by-step guide on its website.
The organization indicated that immediately upon submitting the application, an SMS notification will be sent to the phone number of the liaison officer or employer, confirming receipt of the request by the relevant social security branch.
It added that the establishment's social security number will subsequently be sent to the liaison officer. This will allow the officer to visit the designated branch, the establishment's data, and log in to the establishment's electronic account using the assigned social security number and password to submit worker status records.
