Balqa Applied University announced the results of the Comprehensive Community College Exam (Al-Shamel) for the final summer session of 2026, where the overall pass rate reached 72.9%.
A total of 2,605 male and female students registered for the exam, of whom 2,591 sat for at least one exam paper, while 14 students were absent across all papers.
The session covered 107 academic and applied majors, supervised across 52 university and community colleges, with 1,899 students successfully completing all requirements to pass.
By candidate status, students retaking the exam to raise their grade point average (GPA) recorded the highest pass rate at 92.7%, followed by regular students at 79.1%, then students who had previously exhausted their exam attempts at 72.8%, and repeaters at 66.8%. Meanwhile, the pass rate for the exhausted attempts/repeater category reached 61.4%.
Across individual exam papers, the pass rate reached 96.6% for Paper One, 94.8% for Paper Two, and 90.3% for Paper Four, while Paper Three recorded the lowest pass rate at 75.7%.
Top performers across academic programs were led by student Aroob Mohammad Awad Al-Laimoun, from the University College for Allied Medical Professions in Karak, who achieved an average of 99.6% in Midwifery. She was followed by student Elias Mohammad Suleiman Al-Loubani, from the Al-Sharif Nasser Bin Jamil College for Command, Control, and Communications, who scored an average of 99.1% in Telecommunications and Computer Networks.
Student Rashed Khaled Faleh Al-Hneiti secured an average of 93.1% in Hanafi Jurisprudence, Rania Adel Hafez Mehdawi scored 92.2% in Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment and Diagnosis, and Ahmad Fathi Mohammad Salem scored 88.7% in Information and Network Security.
Additionally, Hussam Hassan Mohammad Al-Ziyadneh topped the Food Processing Technology major with an average of 88.2%, Aisha Mansour Hassan Al-Jamal led Business Administration with 87.4%, Rawand Mohammad Taha Abdul Hadi led Graphic Design with 86%, and Lina Sofian Yousef Barjoos topped Applied English Language with 84.1%.
Yamen Amjad Mohammad Dawood topped Culinary Arts with an average of 80.6%, Abdul Rahman Yahya Ahmad Al-Sawalqah led Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment with 80.4%, and Mohammad Othman Abdul Aziz Mohammad led Physical and Health Education with 79.9%.
