The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development has begun implementing distribution guidelines for 11th-grade academic track students born in 2010 under the 2026–2027 academic plan.
​The ministry set a maximum capacity cap of 30% for each field at the directorate level—rather than individual school level—across four distinct fields: Health, Science, Technology, Engineering (STEM), Humanities and Social Sciences, and Business.

​Merit-Based Selection: If student applications for a specific field exceed the 30% cap, selection will be determined based on the combined average school GPA from the 10th and 11th grades.
