Orange Jordan continues to train youth for employment, as it recently announced the opening of registration for the third cohort of the Programming Academy in Balqa and Zarqa, as a continuation of the successful training program in various governorates of the Kingdom, especially after it expanded within the framework of the "Innovation Space" project. It is a three-year program co-financed by the European Union through the Innovation for Entrepreneurship and Job Growth Program “Ibtikar Jordan”, for digital empowerment and the promotion of a culture of innovation at scale.
This step comes with the approaching graduation of the second cohort of the Academy in Balqa and Zarqa, to provide young men and women with intensive and free training on the most important programming languages required and the personal skills necessary for the competitive labor market, after the employment rate among the graduates of the Programming Academy in the governorates (Aqaba, Irbid, Balqa and Zarqa) reached 80% and in Amman 85%.
Academy graduates benefit from the training program in partnership with the French academic partner, Simplon, in an interactive environment to develop their programming skills within an efficient curriculum and at the hands of expert trainers, through individual and group projects followed by practical training in a technology company to apply what they have learned on the ground.
At the end of the training, the Academy's students receive certificates accredited by Simplon, Princess Sumaya University for Technology and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which increases their opportunities and positively affects their professional and practical lives.
As the Coding Academy in Balqa and Zarqa opens the door for registration until August 13, 2023, interested young men and women between the ages of 18-30, whether university students or others, can register now for a 4-month training through the following link for Zarqa:

Funded by the European Union, the "Innovation Space" project expands the scope of Orange's digital projects to include the establishment of 9 digital community centers, 5 new coding academies, 5 manufacturing labs, 8 startup accelerators and business incubators, as well as an innovation forum in the Orange Digital Village in Amman.
This initiative is a pioneering project at the level of Jordan and a destination that brings together all that is needed for digital creativity and entrepreneurial support, as it will introduce more young people to digital culture and develop their digital skills, in addition to sponsoring the entrepreneurial sector by identifying important opportunities that will enhance the growth of the digital economy.
