The Greater Amman Municipality, through the Traffic Operations Department and in cooperation and coordination with the Traffic Department, began implementing changes to traffic directions in a number of streets surrounding the medical district in the Jabal Amman area on Friday morning, with the aim of organizing traffic movement and enhancing traffic flow in the area.
The adjustments included converting Al-Mutanabbi Street from a two-way street to a one-way street, while the traffic direction on Nineveh Street was reversed to become an exit route toward Ibn Khaldoun Street.
These modifications come as part of the traffic measures implemented by the Greater Amman Municipality in coordination with the Traffic Department, aiming to organize traffic flow and raise the efficiency of the road network, contributing to reducing congestion and improving vehicle flow around the medical district.
The Greater Amman Municipality and the Traffic Department called on drivers and road users to pay attention to the new changes, adhere to traffic signs, signals, and approved traffic directions, and follow the instructions of the Traffic Department personnel operating in the field to maintain public safety and traffic flow.
