​His Majesty King Abdullah II announced on Thursday the signing of a defense cooperation agreement with France.
​His Majesty posted on his X platform account: "I discussed with President Macron ways to advance our deep-rooted bilateral relations and continuous coordination, and we witnessed the signing of a defense cooperation agreement."
​His Majesty added: "We held a meeting with His Excellency the Lebanese President, during which we emphasized the importance of Paris hosting the Aqaba Process meetings to support the Lebanese Army, and we look forward to continued work to achieve stability in Lebanon and the region."
​His Majesty the King arrived on Thursday at the venue of the Aqaba Process meetings in Paris regarding ways to support the Lebanese Army.
​His Majesty, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun are co-chairing a new round of the "Aqaba Process" initiative in Paris to discuss ways to support the Lebanese Army.
