In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Al-Awaysha tribe, represented by all its sons and members, has issued a statement confirming its unified support behind His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Hashemite leadership. The tribe expressed pride in the King's firm national and pan-Arab stances in defending Jordan's higher interests and upholding Arab causes, foremost among them the Palestinian issue.
The statement noted that the Al-Awaysha tribe followed His Majesty's address before the United Nations General Assembly with pride, highlighting the clear messages conveying Jordan's firm position regarding the Palestinian cause, its support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, its rejection of forced displacement and attempts to impose new realities on the ground, and its call for a comprehensive and just peace based on international legitimacy resolutions.
The tribe emphasized that these stances represent a continuation of Jordan's steadfast historical position, maintained by leadership and people alike over decades in defense of nation causes and adherence to national principles, rooted in the historical role of the Hashemite leadership.
Furthermore, the Al-Awaysha tribe reiterated its dedication to Jordan as a homeland, leadership, and people, standing firmly alongside the King to protect the nation's security, stability, and national unity, noting that Jordanian cohesion remains the core foundation in confronting all challenges.
The statement concluded with prayers for the preservation of Jordan's security and stability under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
