​Al-Ahliyya Amman University—represented by its Board of Trustees, Board of Directors, university president, vice presidents, faculty, administrative staff, and students—issued a statement of endorsement supporting the positions outlined in His Majesty King Abdullah II's address before the United Nations General Assembly. The university noted that the speech confronted the international community with its legal, moral, and political responsibilities while offering a comprehensive Jordanian vision for resolving regional crises, led by the Palestinian cause.
​In its statement, the university emphasized that the royal speech reflected the core principles and national interests of the Jordanian state, as well as its commitment to Arab causes. It highlighted Jordan's defense of its national security and stability alongside the Palestinian people's right to freedom, independence, and statehood, without compromising on fundamental principles—chief among them the Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, sustained support for UNRWA, protection of refugee rights, and keeping the conflict free from religious or sectarian framing.
​The statement pointed out that the address clearly exposed the occupying power's expansion of settlements, land confiscation, and displacement in the West Bank. It also confronted the international community with the reality of civilian infrastructure destruction and severe blockades in the Gaza Strip, warning that continuing these actions directly undermines the viability of a independent Palestinian state and threatens the foundation of the two-state solution.
​Furthermore, the university valued His Majesty's firm declaration that any threat to Jordan's northern borders or water security constitutes a direct national security threat that will be handled with resolve. It added that the Kingdom continues to fulfill its role in countering terrorism and drug trafficking to protect regional security, while simultaneously enhancing its position as a hub for trade, industry, and technology connecting regional economic and humanitarian interests.
​The statement concluded by expressing absolute support for the positions articulated by His Majesty at the UN General Assembly, reaffirming the university community's allegiance behind the King, the Jordanian Armed Forces, and security agencies in safeguarding Jordan's security, sovereignty, and national interests.
