It is no secret that Jordanian drama has declined, and art in general has also declined and suffers from poor production and lack of support, which affected the image of Jordanian art, which was very present in a past era.
Jordanian artists have always called on the official authorities to support Jordanian art and drama, and have always emphasized that without official support, art will never return to its track.
Cinderella of the Jordanian screen, Abeer Issa, said in a special statement to "Rum" that art is part of the state's civilized project and complements it, and that the support of the official authorities for Jordanian art and artists is an essential element for the comprehensive artistic and cultural renaissance.
She pointed out that the Gulf crisis and the boycott of Jordanian artists at the time greatly affected Jordanian art in its glory and peak, and were among the important reasons when production companies stopped buying Jordanian works.
She pointed out that social media, technological progress and the diversity of different fields caused the loss of many local businesses amid the chaos of the worlds of communication.
She stressed that there are new Jordanian artistic faces in the local and Arab arenas, which will give a wonderful impetus if they find real support and give them an opportunity to restore the brilliance of Jordanian drama again in the Arab arena.
She added: Art can convey important messages in various fields and works through messages that can be expressed more simply to convey the image and the truth to the viewer.
The artist, Issa, praised the Issam Hijjawi Foundation for Artistic Production and Distribution, which she said is still insisting on supporting Jordanian art and the survival of Jordanian drama on the Arab scene.
