AMMAN — Local gold prices in Jordan decreased by 40 piasters per gram on Saturday, according to the daily price list issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Goldsmith Shops.
The selling price for 21-karat gold—the most popular denomination among Jordanian consumers—dropped to 84.10 Jordanian dinars per gram at retail shops, with the buying price set at 80.20 dinars per gram.
The selling prices for 24-karat and 18-karat gold per gram stood at 96.50 dinars and 74.50 dinars, respectively.
