The second artistic evening came from the public singing concerts, within the activities of the "Fuheis Festival - Jordan History and Civilization" in its thirty-seventh session, yesterday evening, Thursday, according to expectations, as the Jordanian artists Jihad Sarkis and the Lebanese artist Joseph Attia lit the festival's sky with songs , in the midst of a human flood, more than four thousand people filled the sides of the stage, and they remained for two and a half hours interacting with the rhythmic songs, in the midst of an ideal organization calculated for the festival management in the entry and exit of the audience from the stage smoothly and easily.
And to the tune of his famous song "Salma", the artist Jihad Sarkis started the evening, interacting with the audience who chanted the song with him, before he sang "Tala and Tamar Ya Dar", followed by the song "Al-Fuhis, your name is Bilali".
Jihad's enthusiastic singing excited the audience to increase their enthusiasm for the songs "Sabahi Inta", "Al-Bint Al-Qawiyya", "We Are All Bananger" and "Seven Spirits", which prompted him to go down to the seats of the audience and sing with them. After that, he presented a link of traditional Jordanian folk songs, including "Radi". Your Hair”, to present his most famous song, “Ya Jeddah”, and to conclude his concert with the song “The Black Eyes”.
In his first appearance to the audience of the "Fuheis Festival", the Lebanese artist, Joseph Attia, demonstrated a great artistic development, from his last appearance in the Jordanian festivals several years ago, if he showed artistic maturity in his way of dealing with the audience, who sang with him for an hour and a half, in An interaction indicating that his songs reached the audience, which was dominated by young girls, as the songs of one of the discoveries of the “Star Academy” program reached them, which indicates that Joseph was able to engrave his songs in the memory of the audience.
Joseph started a concert with the song “Love of the Age”, followed by the song “Gharib Coincidence”, before presenting his famous song “Don’t Rouhi”, and continued in the same vein in the songs “Habeet Oyounak”, “I Want to See You” and “Bayouni”, to reach the maximum extent of interaction with the song "Oh All the World" and "What Do You Want to Be", to surprise the audience by presenting Omar Al-Abdallat's song "Ya Saad", and Muhammad Assaf's song "Ali Al-Kofia", before Joseph returns to ignite the audience's enthusiasm with his song "Ta'eb Al-Shouq". The audience's enthusiasm did not fade, even after the festival's executive director, Ayman Samawi, honored the Lebanese singer, to conclude his concert with the song "Lebanon Will Return".
The two speakers dealt with the story of the city of Fuheis decades ago, its lanes, and what it was famous for in terms of springs and farms, and its extension to the Al-Allali area, and they referred to the relationship of the people of Fuheis with the Adwan tribe. Palestine, as well as for wheat that was exported to Italy.
The two speakers pointed out that the crops were exposed to a deadly insect that destroyed all the grape vines at the beginning of the forties, and they also talked about the relationship of the Mahdawi prince with Fuheis when he invaded it in 1650 in order to marry the daughter of a Christian clergyman. And also about the first arrival of water through pipes to Al-Fuheis for the first time in 1964, thanks to Musa Benno, while Al-Fuheis learned about electricity in 1968 with the start of television broadcasting in Jordan

Yesterday evening, Thursday, the artist and theatrical director Asma Mustafa concluded her participation in the activities of the "Fuheis Festival" at the "Qanater Theatre", after presenting the play "Our Goat in Our Home" for children over two days, as part of the "Laughter, Play and Theater" initiative.
In her presentation, Asmaa targeted the importance of young children interacting with the stories narrated, relying on the famous tale "Laila and the Wolf" to attract children from three to ten years of age, as the interactive project aims to encourage children to discover the joy of reading and teach children how to defend themselves. Their right to play, education and decent living through theatre.
Asma enchanted the children by presenting the clothes of the characters in the story "Laila and the Wolf", to the children whom she invited from among the spectators to share with her the story of the theatrical work, which contributed to their positive interaction with the events of the work in general.
