​The National Charter Party expressed its deep pride and appreciation for the Jordanian security agencies—led by the Public Security Directorate and the General Intelligence Department—for their high professional vigilance, courage, and discipline in tracking down and arresting the perpetrators of the atrocious terrorist crime that targeted citizens at Humud Church in Karak Governorate.
​The suspects were apprehended early Monday morning in a qualitative security operation that demonstrated the state’s ability to protect its citizens and uphold the rule of law.
​The party emphasized that the successful apprehension of the terrorists without sustaining casualties among security personnel highlights the efficiency, readiness, and firm capability of Jordan's security institutions in responding to threats against national safety. The operation sends a clear message that justice will reach anyone who attempts to shed Jordanian blood or disturb societal unity.
​The National Charter Party valued the decisive directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, and his direct follow-up on the incident. The party underscored His Majesty's affirmation that the safety of Jordanians is a red line and that there will be no leniency toward terrorism or those who justify its ideology.
​The statement stressed that national security is a shared responsibility between state institutions and citizens. It highlighted that preserving national unity and rejecting hatred or incitement serve as the primary line of defense against extremism. Jordanians, both Muslims and Christians, remain partners in history, land, and destiny, bound by centuries of brotherhood that terrorism cannot break.
​Reaffirming its reverence for the martyrs, solidarity with their families, and wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured, the party extended its gratitude to the personnel of the security agencies and the Jordan Armed Forces who safeguard the nation's stability.
