The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) organized a solidarity stand outside its headquarters, led by the Chairman and members of the chamber’s management committee alongside staff, to express deep solidarity with the families of the martyrs and those injured in the Karak terrorist attack.
Participants began the gathering with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs' souls, offering prayers for the swift recovery of the injured and affirming that the tragedy of Karak is shared by the entire nation.
Chairman of the ACC Management Committee, Mohammad Abu Odeh, stated that the gathering reflects a message of loyalty and unity across all segments of Jordanian society. He stressed that the crime in Karak calls for even stronger adherence to national unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, adding that Jordan will remain resilient against all forms of violence, hatred, and extremism.
Abu Odeh praised the high operational efficiency and professionalism of the security agencies, whose continuous efforts culminated in the dawn arrest of the three terrorists during a joint operation without sustaining any casualties among security forces. He noted that the swift response and successful capture send a decisive message that Jordan remains a state of law and institutions where terrorism will find no refuge.
Reaffirming the business and service sectors' alignment with national institutions, Abu Odeh expressed full support behind His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II in combating terrorism, safeguarding societal peace, and maintaining the stability of the Kingdom.
