​The Ministry of Justice hosted a workshop on Monday focusing on dispute resolution reforms within the World Bank's Business Ready (B-READY) index. Sponsored by Minister of Justice Dr. Bassam Al-Talhouni, the event brought together lawyers and representatives from partner institutions to raise awareness about recent legislative and procedural updates designed to improve Jordan's investment climate and judicial efficiency.
​During his opening address, Dr. Al-Talhouni highlighted the direct impact of dispute resolution reforms on streamlining judicial procedures, reinforcing market competitiveness, and attracting foreign and domestic investment to the Kingdom.
​The workshop aligns with the Ministry’s broader strategy to modernize civil justice procedures and fulfill World Bank business climate evaluation standards through short-, medium-, and long-term reform phases. Key pillars of the initiative include contract enforcement and full digital transformation of judicial services to accelerate case resolution and lower transaction costs for the business sector.
​Dr. Al-Talhouni emphasized that continuous institutional modernization, paired with strong stakeholder collaboration, remains vital for maintaining a legal framework capable of supporting national economic growth.
