Jordan’s high exports of jewelry, jewelry and pharmaceutical preparations contributed to limiting the decline in national exports from the beginning of 2023 until the end of last November.
Foreign trade data issued by the Department of Statistics indicated that Jordan’s exports of jewelry and jewelry increased by 72.1% until the end of November 2023, pharmaceutical preparations by 23.3% and other materials by 11.3%.
The value of national exports of jewelry and jewelry until the end of last November 2023 reached about 754 million dinars, compared to 438 million for the same period of 2022, while the value of exports of pharmaceutical preparations amounted to about 465 million dinars, compared to 377 million for the same period of 2022, as for other materials, their value amounted to 3.058 billion dinars, compared to 2.747 billion dinars for the corresponding period of 2022.
On the other hand, the percentages of national exports decreased until the end of November 2023, for clothing and accessories by 12.6%, fertilizers by 12.3%, crude potash by 36.6%, and phosphate by 23.6%.
According to statistical data, the value of the Kingdom’s exports of clothing and accessories until the end of November 2023 amounted to about 1.246 billion dinars, compared to 1.426 billion dinars for the same period of 2022, and the value of fertilizer exports amounted to about 911 million dinars, compared to 1.039 billion dinars for the same period of 2022.
The value of the Kingdom’s exports of crude potash until the end of November 2023 amounted to about 616 million dinars, compared to 972 million for the same period of 2022, while the value of phosphate exports reached about 556 million dinars, compared to 728 million for the same period in 2022.
Statistical data showed a decrease in the total value of national exports until the end of last November of 2023 by 1.6%, reaching 7.606 billion dinars, compared to 7.727 billion dinars for the same period of 2022.
