The campaign aimed to spread financial and banking culture among women and enhance their ability to manage finances effectively. The campaign included a number of educational lectures, awareness sessions, financial advice and guidance, and discussion sessions, in addition to a specialized competition to enhance financial awareness.
The bank’s participation in the campaign aligns with its vision of empowering women, especially in the field of entrepreneurship, by facilitating their access to the bank’s services that meet their business needs, and through its supportive service system. Additionally, the bank supports events aimed at providing them with the knowledge and skills that enhance their ability to succeed and develop their businesses, thereby expanding the scope of the female entrepreneurship community.
Through its special pavilion, the bank provided a comprehensive overview to the participating and attending women, business owners, and those with entrepreneurial ideas, about the solutions and tools it allocates for small and emerging projects, including various lending, financing, credit, and guarantee programs, as well as facilities, cash solutions, corporate services, and more.
The campaign was organized by the Association of Banks in Jordan, in cooperation with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), the Central Bank of Jordan, and the Association of Banking Experts. It was held in Irbid, Karak, and Zarqa during the period between February 6-15 of this year.
