The President of the University of Jordan and the former Minister of Health, Dr. Nazir Obaidat, was a guest on the program “This is Me with Rum,” presented by our colleague Abdulaziz Al-Khalidi, in the fourth episode of the program, which is shown on the Rum platforms and the Shahid Media Group during the holy month of Ramadan.
Obaidat described himself at the beginning of the meeting as a Jordanian citizen who is honored By entrusting him with the presidency of the University of Jordan by a sublime royal will, he continued, “I do not regret anything in my life that I have done personally.”
Obaidat said, “Maybe there are some people who approached me for some purpose and then left.”
Obaidat asked a question on the program “This I am with Rum” to someone without mentioning his name and said. Were you sure about this information? I also try to convince myself that I have no enemies, and whoever acts in one way or another against me is for his own benefit and not for realistic reasons.
Obeidat added: I do not regret submitting my resignation after the events at Salt Hospital, and I consider that a moral responsibility. The resignation stemmed from personal conscience and conviction, and the homeland is more important than Anything..
Obaidat pointed out that the source of his confidence is his family, and the levels of trust reach its peak with them..
Obaidat chose “And I have not been given knowledge but a little” as an appropriate title for his life story..
Obaidat explained that he encountered many things that bothered him, but in the end it turned out to be good and he said: When the medical treatment institution ended, I was supposed to be transferred to the Ministry of Health, but I was transferred to complete my specialty at the University of Jordan Hospital, and this decision was in my best interest.”
Obaidat pointed out that the most precious thing that life had stolen from him was definitely his father. He continued, “My father’s death was not sudden, and a few days before that, I had a meeting.” Especially with him and he said to me, “I am in the best condition today because I realized that my children love the people and their country, and I am in good health, and I am not afraid of death.” Obeidat said, “I always wonder where this man went!”
Obeidat praised the Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, President, and added, “What I know about the Khasawneh state is a lot.” He knows that he is a very smart man, has distinguished abilities, and loves the country and His Majesty the King. He did not sleep at night during the Corona pandemic, and he deserves to be renewed as Prime Minister if His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein sees that.
