His Majesty renewed his call on the international community to intensify efforts to reach an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, to reduce the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip, warning of the dangerous consequences of the Israeli attack on Rafah.

His Majesty the King stressed the need to protect civilians in Gaza and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Strip, pointing to the importance of continuing to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), to enable it to provide its humanitarian services in accordance with its UN mandate.
