The Pakistani army announced early Wednesday that 26 civilians were killed and 46 others injured in strikes carried out by the Indian military on targets inside Pakistan.

Army spokesperson Lt. Gen. Ahmed Chaudhry said the casualties included a 3-year-old girl who was killed inside a mosque in Bahawalpur, Punjab province.
