Jordan’s national football team began physical and technical training Sunday in Saudi Arabia as part of a camp running through Saturday, 31 May, in Dammam, in preparation for their decisive World Cup qualifiers against Oman and Iraq.

The team held a morning workout at the hotel gym, followed by an evening training session at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd training pitch under coach Jamal Sellami.

As part of the camp, the Nashama will play a friendly match against Saudi Arabia on Friday, 30 May.

Jordan face Oman at 7 PM (Jordan time) on Thursday, 5 June, at Sultan Qaboos Stadium, then play Iraq at 9:15 PM on Tuesday, 10 June, at Amman International Stadium.

Jordan currently sit second in Group B with 13 points, behind South Korea (16), followed by Iraq (12), Oman (10), Palestine (6), and Kuwait (5).

Under the qualifiers format, teams are divided into three groups of six. The top two from each group qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, while third and fourth-placed teams advance to the fourth round.
